NCAA DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN

Duties: NCAA Digital oversees the operations, day-to-day production, marketing and sales of NCAA.com, the official website of the NCAA. In addition to NCAA.com, the NCAA Digital team oversees products for the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, including March Madness on Demand. NCAA Digital is part of Turner Sports, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. The NCAA Digital Marketing and Public Relations departments take care of getting the message and the accomplishments of NCAA.com out to the general public in a variety of different ways, utilizing both traditional and social media. The NCAA.com Marketing/Public Relations Intern will provide support to all members of the public relations and marketing teams. This position will schedule, traffic (using internal ad-system), optimize and deliver reporting for all marketing and promotional campaigns. Also assist in the production and deployment of email newsletters and the follow up reporting. This will also include gathering clippings, managing databases, compiling game notes, as well as drafting news releases.
All candidates must be a recent graduate of a four-year NCAA member institution. This internship is designed to provide real-work experience in the intern’s desired professional field. This is an eleven-month, benefits-eligible paid program (Aug. 1 – June 30). Deadline to apply is May 27, 2011.
