Pre-Closer:
The pre-closer opens files, orders title examinations, prepares title binders, orders loan payoffs, schedules closings and performs various other tasks to prepare the file for closing. Once information is received, the pre-closer works to resolve any problems which are discovered prior to closing. The pre-closer works closely with the clients to communicate and resolve title problems and to ensure all necessary paperwork is in the file in advance of closing. This position requires strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Closer:
A Closer receives and reviews closing instructions from the lender and subsequently works closely with the attorney to prepare closing documents, including the HUD-1 settlement statements. Closers are also responsible for balancing files and cutting checks. Closers must be accurate, facultative with a computer and able to manage their time effectively. Soft Pro experience is a plus.
Disburser:
The disburser is responsible for copying and sending out the loan packages to the lenders after closing, mailing checks, and recording deeds. The disburser is the last person to review a file prior to completion; therefore, it is imperative that all documents are reviewed for accuracy to ensure that all documents are signed notarized, as applicable.
Title Examiner:
The duty of title examiner is to research the chain of title for properties which are being conveyed or secured at the time of closing. This is done by performing title research on computer databases of county records and, for documents that are not available via the computer, searching county courthouse records. The title examiner drafts the title abstract, which will give a synopsis of title, including the current owners as well as any liens or problems which must be cleared before the closing can take place.

Position: Finance and Accounting Manager

As a key member of the office management team, this person will interact with all levels of management and effectively monitor the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
