Marketing Manager

In Extended Protection Solutions (EPS), the marketing department is responsible for internal and external communications and market knowledge. The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager is developing and maintaining the business-to-business marketing strategies to meet business unit objectives. They evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed. The marketing manager will work with many different departments including business development, product development, corporate communications, creative services, operations, finance and risk management. Additionally, they may take on projects related to internal communications, research and training.

Key responsibilities
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of business objectives and market characteristics.
Manage marketing calendar and message development of internal and external communications relating to the business unit. Lead creative development for advertising, newsletters, direct mail, web, media relations, social media and insures brand and message consistency.
Manage market research activities to collect competitive information, client/prospect feedback subsequent to new business activities, and consumer feedback on products/services.
Supports business-to-business sales team in development of proposals.
Support other marketing projects as necessary.

Required skills/experienceBachelors degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Six years of experience in the areas of B2B marketing, communications, and project management.
Strong communications skills either verbally, written and ability to present well in small and large audience.
Experience leading cross- functional teams with members who are local and remote, in subsidiary companies as well as vendor partners.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, market analysis, sales techniques.
Desired skills/experienceAgency or Corporate marketing experience.
Research background either quantitative or qualitative.
Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
