The Senior Investment Consultant supports Relationship Managers (RMs) in the preparation and delivery of consulting reports and advice to institutional clients. The individual manages a variety of consulting projects including designing, coordinating, preparing and delivering analytical consulting assessments. The Consultant will provide proactive and creative support to RMs and clients as a Consulting Manager (CM). He/She will apply good judgment and appropriate follow-through with RMs, clients, investment managers and other client vendors.
Demonstrate initiative and ownership of client and research-related work.
Exhibit strong knowledge of finance and investment theory and practice and the ability to apply this knowledge to client work.
Manage and deliver loosely defined and complex client projects without supervision.
Ability to coordinate with, and effectively utilize, specialized firm resources in order to complete all relevant client deliverables.
Make presentations to and deal directly with clients on most, if not all, advice without assistance/presence of an RM.
Coach/mentor junior professionals and maintain constructive relationships with others in the firm. Support the firms activities in general.
Efficiently manage internal resources to allow for effective handling of multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously.
Provide leadership that contributes to the success of the client teams.

MBA and/or CFA highly preferred.
3-7 years of experience in a financial/investment environment working with institutional clients.
Must have direct client facing investment consulting experience and a proven sales background.
A strong understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Team player who can work with a variety of individuals.
Ability to work independently on a variety of projects, receive instructions from a number of people and meet project deadlines.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
