INVISTA’s Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M) business is
currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Channel
Marketing Manager – Home Centers. This position will be based in our
Kennesaw, GA office.
The Channel Marketing Manager manages the go-to-market strategy and
execution for the STAINMASTER® brand. They will use knowledge of the
brand, buying process and customer strategies to develop and execute
channel programs that grow brand equity and sales for STAINMASTER®
brand and customers. This person should be an expert in selling;
understanding customer objectives and shopper experience/buying

Commercialize products and maximize market potential by developing
strategies and tools for the Sales team, including channel marketing
plans, promotions, merchandising, and POP materials.
Develop sales training program and materials for associates.
Own the market and product maps and competitive landscape.
Provides an analysis of the buying process for business management.
Recommends improvements in merchandising, POP and brand management.
Recommends objectives and strategies within area of responsibility,
consistent with business priorities, taking into account customer
Coordinates programs across channel and brands within areas of
responsibility and maximizes value creation.
Sets success metrics for plans, encompassing financial and
non-financial metrics. Analyzes results at the channel level of new
product launches and merchandising initiatives. Utilize this
information for recommending future projects.
Leads the coordination of line review activities within area of responsibility.
Provides input to and executes the marketing plan, overseeing the
creation of promotional programming, such as in-store merchandising
signage or displays, retailer feature ads, catalog layouts, events
(trade shows), and channel-specific marketing support materials.
Ensures consistency with brand guidelines and customer point of sale
Provides insights into growing brands, profitably, at Point-of-Sale
based on brand positioning an understanding of customer strategies.
Works with cross-functional team to develop innovative merchandising
solutions and POP communication to win at customer’s point of sale.
Ensures new innovation and merchandising solutions comply with
customer merchandising strategy and requirements.
Provides organization with direction on launch activation within their

Required Skills & Experience:
At least 4 years of experience working with or calling on Home Centers
or Big Box Retailers.
At least 4 years combined channel/trade, brand management and/or sales
experience; including understanding customer objectives and shopper
experience & buying process.
Experience analyzing P&L’s and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
Willing and able to travel at least 20% of the time.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing or a business related field.
